Site Archive
Programming rotates, exhibits change, and content moves on. Here's where we keep the pages that used to live on our main site, so their stories are still accessible.
Kept For The Record
The Shorey Wagon
Photos and documentation from the 2013 restoration project. Preserved as part of the Society's ongoing record of Vassalboro's traditional trades.
Full page coming as materials are consolidated.
Window Dressers
Documentation from the Society's participation in the Window Dressers community program: volunteer-built insulating window inserts for local homes.

Travel Through the Ages
Curated by Sharon Farrington. Trunks, travel clothes, hat boxes, carpetbags, and a running model train alongside a map of Vassalboro's narrow gauge, trolley, and Maine Central lines. Rotated out to make way for current displays; the artifacts remain in our collection.
All Things Textile
Mounted with guidance from textile conservator Lynne Bassett. The exhibit featured dresses, jewelry, purses, shoes, menswear, children's clothing, quilts, hooked rugs, and samplers, all drawn from the Society's own collection. The individual pieces remain in the archive.
